Joining runs through our Discord.

Membership is invite-only, vetted by the community, and free. There's no form on this site — you apply, verify your identity, and get reviewed entirely inside the LAN Discord server. Here's the whole path.

The steps

Five stages

1Check in at the doorWhen you join, you'll land in a screening area before you get full access. Tell us who invited you and your X/Twitter handle — a quick pre-check before we let you into the community.

2ApplyIn the server, run /apply and fill out the short form — your social profiles, a bit about you, and what you're applying as: Content Creator, Aspiring Content Creator, Volunteer, or Supporter if you mainly want to back the network and amplify it.

3Follow & get your codeFollow @LiberalActNet on X, then request your code. It's sent to you by direct message — following is what lets us reach you.

4VerifyRun /verify-twitter with the code from your DM. That proves the account is yours and earns you the Twitter Verified role.

5Get reviewedAdvisors review verified applicants. Once approved you get the LAN Member role — full access to the community and the members' tools on this site. Advisors may instead offer you LAN Booster — access to the boost section, where members' posts that need reach get posted, rather than the full member community and tools.

Just want to help amplify? You don't have to make content to be useful here. Tell us you're a Supporter when you apply — approved Boosters get their own section of the server, where members' posts that need reach get posted, and boost them from their own accounts.

Why Discord? It keeps membership tied to a real, verified identity and lets the community vet applicants directly — no anonymous web form to game.

Selective, but never secretive. We're deliberate about who joins, but our purpose, principles, and leadership are open to anyone who asks.
